June brings the official start of summer, when schools are out, the summer solstice brings the blaring sun closer to us, beach trips happen, and parents with younger kiddos scramble to figure out how to get in those work hours and keep the kiddos entertained. And let’s not forget Pride month!

It’s time to sign up for summer trainings IN PERSON, and we want you to come and eat tacos with us in Austin, TX! Each training is 20 hours over 3 days, including lunch, snacks, breaks, and at the end you run an activity!

Why K-12 Comprehensive Sex Ed Matters
I was recently in a small group of parents and the conversation turned to elementary sex ed. One parent told a story about the only sex ed she ever had in school, which was a sex-segregated movie viewing where a mother ended up making pancakes shaped like a uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries to explain menstruation. Another parent shared that the only thing she remembered from elementary sex ed was that her teacher had also taught the guy who sang La Bamba. I gave a gigantic shrug… Click to read more on the blog
