Carolina De Leon Quiroga is a recent UT Austin graduate with a Bachelor’s in Art in Psychology and a minor in Educational Psychology. She was born in Panama City, Panama. Carolina grew up in Panama and Yucatan, Mexico. She moved to Texas when at 13 and has lived there ever since. Carolina is currently studying for her Master’s Degree in ESL/Bilingual Education at Texas A&M University in College Station. She is also working as a classroom/teacher’s aide with the goal of becoming a full time teacher.

 

Carolina is excited to be part of such an amazing group, as one of three inaugural members of the UN|HUSHED Spanish Translation Team. She believes her work with this team will make important knowledge about sexuality education accesible to Spanish speaking communities both in and beyond the United States.

 

Outside of her invauable work at UN|HUSHED she enjoys reading, hanging out with friends, and playing with her puppy Jasmine!
