Jeffrey W. Anthony, CHES

Jeffrey W. Anthony (he/they) is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), focusing on human sexuality education, and having worked in and around sexuailty education for a decade. Currently, they are a prevention educator at a sexual violence program in New Jersey, providing services to young adults in high schools, support to parents and caregivers, as well as professional development to teachers, medical staff, and general professional staff. Prior to their current role, Jeffrey worked as the Senior Program Coordinator for the Center for Sex Education, a national program of Planned Parenthood of Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey, Inc., and before that as a health educator for Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.

Jeffrey has a penchant for creating space for growth through trauma-informed practices, as well as social justice issues focusing on the support of LGTBQ communities, disability communities, and many other intersections wherein sexuality education can help individuals grow. Jeffrey also focuses on capacity building of organizations and nonprofits.
